Terms of Use

  • The accuracy of any information posted on this site is not guaranteed nor do the posts necessarily reflect the opinions of the administrators or moderators.

  • Your permission to post here could be rescinded at any time and these terms may be changed at any time.

  • You must not post or link to material which you are not authorized to use.

  • No content may be copied from this board without authorization.

  • This forum was created to provide a place of convergence for those of us who share a common interest and if you do not share in this interest, this is not a place for airing your dislike of our pursuit.

  • Courtesy and decency is expected in all posts made on this board because friends and readers here deserve no less.

  • Behavior which is deemed disruptive may also be grounds for loss of membership.

  • Moderators will be sole arbiters in determining violations of Terms of Use.

  • We function as a community here. Many members are licensed amateur operators who (by virtue of their licensing) don't enjoy the anonymity that others have on the internet. For this reason and in the interest of fairness to those who would get to know you and interact with you, we will expect you to select one screen name and to agree not to use multiple accounts or identities on this forum.

  • You may change your screen name as long as it's an open change and others are aware of it. You are not required to use your actual name or to provide public email addresses at this time, but misuse of anonymity in an attempt to victimize others will be dealt with by immediate ejection from this site.

  • As with any forum, whether they tell you or not, IP addresses are logged and are only used in dealing with problems. They are not visible or available to other members. Attempts at IP spoofing will be taken as evidence of deceptive behavior and will be grounds for loss of membership.

  • If a moderator warns you on a post or makes the decision to delete your post, we expect you to just try again without involving all of us in post and email wars.

  • Though we prefer to warn privately, if we do not have a functioning email address in your member records, we may choose to warn you publicly or simply revoke your membership.

  • If an offense is deemed blatent, you could be banned without any warning.

  • Before posting or emailing about 'censorship' and 'free speech', all users should be aware that this place was not created to function as a town square. It is a private community into which you have been invited and in which you will be welcome to stay based upon your acceptance of and adherance to these terms. The internet is vast and while there are many places where you can be deceptive, belligerent, profane, indecent, rude, disruptive, obnoxious, hostile, inflammatory, degrading, and even worse, this is not one of those places.
